Daaaaaaamn. This is really hard to review. It was REALLY hard for me to get past the fact that he was 17. I REALLY REALLY wanted to rewrite this book to where there was a LITTLE less of an age difference and they had waited until he was officially 18 to get together. I could've handled attraction. Flirting, even. Some light touching. But GOSH. They just went for it, whole hog! I mean, really. You can't wait 3-4 months? Puhleeze. This book kept me turning the pages - I was desperate to find out if they would get caught. What bothered me was that Sebastian actually DID act his age. I didn't find him to be overly mature. And I thought Caroline acted WAY older than 30. Gosh, I'm in my 40's and I act younger than her... but then at other times she was very immature. This is the second book I've read from this author and - while I think she's a very good writer - I don't find the characters' dialogue very animated. It's hard to explain. It's like at times they come across like robots or something. It's not translating for me. Other times, they were extremely over dramatic. It was hard to get a read on the characters because of this. Moving on to book 2 now!!!!! Wow, I couldn't put this down. A well written story with lots of emotion, fun and sex. Carolina is a great loveable character, the downtrodden doormat of a wife to David unloving bully of a husband, Sebastian is a young, hot teenager just wanting to be loved as his drunk of a Mum and nasty violent bully of a father both treat him like dirt. An amazing story from start to finish i would definitely recommended and will read part 2.
