Wow!! This book was amazing! It had me hooked from start to finish, so much so i finished it in less than a day! This is just a short book but covers so many emotions, it is written brilliantly, as usual from Jane and the characters are fantastic.Firstly we meet Ava having a rubbish day, having moved to a new place for a great job which she has subsequently lost due to a horrible pervy boss! She firstly meets Cody while she is stuck in traffic and he is walking a dog. What happens during that is so sweet but i don't want to spoil it! lolThey meet up again and become the best of friends. There is definitely attraction between them from the start but Ava becomes hesitant after he tells her his age. This soon changes and they have the best adventures together working on his 'list of things to do'. Ava feels Cody is holding back certain things from her but she doesn't know what. I had an idea what he may have been hiding but nothing prepared me for it! I sobbed so much at the end I couldn't even see the page!! This book completely hooks you in, it takes hold of your emotions and then makes you sob completely!! This is a beautifully written book, I absolutely loved it and couldn't recommend it more!! Definitely worth more than 5*! This was a short, quick read for me. But I enjoyed every single moment of it. It's filled with so much emotion and so much reality, with some very sage advice thrown in along the way. Beautiful, sweet Cody. What can I say? Just a gorgeous person, inside and out. I knew what was going to happen as soon as they met. (Aside from the falling in love). Even so, it did not deter me from loving the story, or loving the characters. Ava is a beautiful person who has been dealt a crap hand. It's a reminder, it's not about the cards we're dealt in life, but rather, how we play the game. Be forewarned, you will cry. If you don't cry, you have no heart.
Do You like book Playing In The Rain (2000)?
