About book Zombie Fallout 2: A Plague Upon Your Family (2000)
This book was good. Mike continues to be entertaining even if he does have some random asides in the middle of the action. The only thing I disliked about this book was the ending. I don't care for cliffhanger endings, especially if they fail to resolved the conflict initiated in the book. The entire book built towards a huge climatic battle but it wasn't resolved well and you were uncertain as to what happened. I didn't care for that. The author would have been better served to clearly resolve the conflict in this book to build towards the bigger climax with Eliza later. Spoiler:I also didn't like the addition of vampires. Zombies is enough. We don't need vampires. I didn't like it one bit. Like seriously, mike knew he was putting all those people in trouble by having Justin hear everything and when someone called him out on it, he kicks Brandon out. What an asshole. I lost all respect for Talbot. He could have tied up justin, secluded him from the group or just send everyone to one truck while he took justin somewhere else of in front, but he didn't. And Tracy too, she'd rather have everyone die "together" than separate and save her other kids. I'm not reading any of the other fallout books. It ends here, just because Mike Talbot, turned out to be a prick.
