I'm a sucker for dystopian, end-of-the-world type sci-fi novels. This series was an easy page-turner. Written for teens, of course, so rather innocent and chaste for my liking (bring on a hastily-raised skirt and some impromptu sex in an alley for crying out loud!) but it was fun to try to figure out the mysteries (Who's actually good? No! That's a bad guy!!). I liked that even the main protagonist was possibly an evil accomplice and didn't know it. Really, the first book is the only one worth much but it's hard not to continue reading a series. This isn't one I'll think about reading again but I'm glad I did. These were one of the only trilogy that kept me hooked all the way though. The number of pages was 1058 and the copy right date of the last book was 2011. I got these book from both my teacher Mr. Burbys room and, the library. These books seem to have a twist at every corner and kept me guessing all the way through, I found my self staying up at night reading this book. It was scary and fun at the same time. All of the characters are relatable in the ways that they handle the the situations in the books, and if there is one thing James Dashner did right it describing the characters feelings every thing that they felt I felt to. The only 2 things about these books that I didn't like was that he one didn't go in to enough detail about Right Arm and that there isn't anymore. All of these books were awesome if you like Divergent, Uglies or The Hunger Games then read these books!!!!
Do You like book The Maze Runner Trilogy (2013)?
Enjoyed the first book enough to finish the trilogy. Overall, good YA science fiction, not great.
