I have loved this series from the very beginning, and this final volume was no different. Tick and his friends come to a stunning conclusion, and I won't add spoilers here to ruin the adventure for you. My only complaint is that I would have loved to see this series end with the originally planned five books instead of rushing to the end the way book four seemed to do, but I still loved the ultimate climax and outcome of the book. On the one hand, I was saddened to see the series come to it's end, but on the other, I was happy that everything turned out in a pleasing way. There are too many series that end on the wrong note, leaving me unsatisfied, but this one turned out perfectly. Sure, I suppose that I would have been a tad bit happier if Tick still looked the same (which I feel is completely within his powers) and I do wish that Karma had been introduced a little sooner (namely, before the final book), but those details don't matter as much as what actually happened. Overall, I loved it.
