I devoured this book. I haven't enjoyed a series this much since Shopaholic. My only problem is that I'm going to fly trough the books and then be sad that there are no more to read. I liked this one even better than "Perfect on Paper" because of the romance aspect. I love the way Waverly and her friends speak in these books. It makes me smile because I use a lot of the same phrases. On to book 3. This second Waverly Bryson novel picks up pretty much right where the last one left off. In this adventure Waverly adjusts to kind of having a boyfriend, her best friend becoming pregnant and moving onto a new phase in her life, and writing a love/relationship advice column. Being who she is Waverly struggles throughout most of the book because she has a hard time accepting change and letting people in. I will admit that it became a little tiresome watching Waverly blow it again and again because she doesn't like to let people get too close to her, but what's good is that she had her moment of clarity and was able to work on it. It was also nice to see that Waverly was finding some direction in her life in regards to her career. Yes, she has the Honey Notes and the advice column, but it always seemed like both were things she just stumbled upon, not what she necessarily wanted. Overall, I though it was a good book. I really do enjoy all the secondary characters who make up the supporting cast in Waverly's life. I think without them these books would not be nearly as entertaining and endearing as they are.
Enjoyable, quick read. Good follow up to the first book.
