The main character is somehow more annoying in this 2nd book. Her constant whining continues as she looks to everyone else to rescue her, make things fair, etc... Her naiveté is a little ridiculous being that this is the 2nd book of the series and she has spent quite a bit of time with the Fey. I just couldn't get pass how dense she was concerning Ash and well... everything. Oh, and I missed Puck. Compared to the first one this book was just all right. What I loved about the first book completely changed in this one. Meghan was super annoying and whiny. And I still don't know how she could be so in love with Ash when she's known him for a few weeks? I'm clearly team Puck. But it's only because he actually has a PERSONALITY. Ash is simply boring and that typical brooding, dark and mysterious "hottie". But I LOVE Grim! He's definitely my favourite character, Puck is a close second.Besides the characters I like that it's super fast paced but the whole book just lacks tension. I never once felt the risk or danger. You just leap from one event to the next. Plot wise I really like it, it's super creative which I love. I'll still be continuing the series.
I liked how Julie kept the same plot line and she didn't add unnecessary information.

Liking this series. Strong female protagonist and a fantastical fairy world.

I love the story but... I'm not a fan of the characters.
