About book Iron Legends: Winter's Passage\Summer's Crossing\Iron's Prophecy (2013)
I always make it a point to read the short stories from series I love, as they often fill in a lot of gaps.I loved seeing the extra bits between Iron King and Iron Daughter, as well as between Iron Queen and Iron Knight. My favorite of the three though, would have to be Iron's Prophecy. Not only did it give another look into the beginning of Meghan's and Ash's marriage, but it opened the door for The Lost Prince. 2.5 starsI love all of Kagawa's novels but this one left me feeling "hmm". Honestly I felt like this novel was not necessary. It's just made up of short stories that took place in between books. The writing is super as usual and there was an effort made to explain the Faery world to the reader (in case they forgot or have never read the trilogy). That being said, hardcore fans will definitely enjoy this book and it'll be a nice addition to their shelves. :) For me, I love the trilogy (and the new series starring Ethan Chase) but this I can do without.
