Just when you think things can't get more exiting in this series, get ready for Karina Halle to blow your socks off with Bold Tricks. Ellie, Camden, and Javier's journey comes full circle in this epic, heart-pounding, action-packed finale to a series that totally rocks. They face insurmountable danger around every turn and aren't sure who they can trust. Love is tested on every level and in every way imaginable, as is trust, especially between Ellie and Camden. You'll be on the edge of your seat as you turn the pages to see who survives, and who ends up with whom when it's all said and done. I honestly didn't think that Camden McQueen could get any hotter after Shooting Scars, but let me tell you this man takes it to a whole new level in Bold Tricks. I am totally swooning after him in all his hot, badass glory. Javier even had his moments when I couldn't help but like him to. In the midst of all the danger and turmoil, he manages to add a bit of humor with some of the things he says, but he really ticked me off in this novel with some of the things he does also and definitely deserved everything he had coming to him. Ellie, despite her bad choices, steps up her level of badass in Bold Tricks also and is quite the heroine. I was very happy with the conclusion of the series and with who Ellie ends up with, as well as the way Karina Halle ended the story. If you are looking for something different that will get your blood pumping in more than one way, capture your attention, and have you biting your nails as you turn the pages, then Bold Tricks and the entire Artists Trilogy is something you will definitely want to check out.
