Cute story about Tierney Terrebonne and Dalton Lehnhart. They meet through a mutual friend, Ian. At first, Tierney is a hot mess who thinks he is in love with Ian. Dalton is not really impressed with mess that he is - but he falls for this type. Rich, jerk, more of a creep than a boyfriend.Dalton inspires Tierney to get his act together and stop drinking, stop carousing and be all he can be. Tierney takes this to heart after his family sets up rehab on his behalf. After rehab and counseling, he finds he needs to set up a support system so he can stick to what works for him. Right now, what works is Dalton.Dalton thinks Tierney is really into him. He is getting gifts and flowers sent to him all the time lately. Tierney is into Dalton and wants to convince him that being together is the right thing to do - when a new counselor advises against it for his best interest.What was worth reading the most was the absolute devotion these characters must learn to give one another to get past all the mess in the middle of their two lives to be a couple. I enjoyed seeing them work through it all angst, love, humor, depression, etc.This book was full of laughter and great wit! I enjoyed the banter between characters and the extended friend and family made it fun! I had not read the first book in the series, TOO STUPID TO LIVE. After reading this story, the 2nd installment in the Romancelandia series... I am rethinking that. While I liked this 2nd entry in the Romancelandia series I didn't /love/ it which makes me a little sad. I didn't really connect with Dalton & Tierney as much as I had with Ian & Sam in TSTL. I do love Anne Tenino's ability to make me LOL though & the dinner with Agatha & the roast beef stands out. I absolutely LOVED that we got to see more of Ian & Sam in this book. All in all, a good read but not a great one, for me personally.
