The second book in the TAG series is a bit better than the first one. Seeing how Paul treated Brad in the first books make me want to strangle him. However, he was properly introduced in this book. A good back story and a past that came looking for him, the book brought good tension between Trevor and Paul. Their first, uh... reunion in Trevor's office is definitely steamy. It was unbelievable at first, but learning what happened in the past and Paul's feelings made everything clear.Trevor came back with one thing in his mind: getting Paul's trust back. His character was written with great realism. Romantic, but not cheesy. He's also very human when he took the time off after their date on the boat.Speaking of which, I was sold when Trevor took Paul on that boat. Those moments are a perfect combination of romance and sexual tension.Lastly, a better title than the first one. Okay, I may have liked this more if Paul wasn't such as asshole. He was an asshole to Brad and Sebastian. He's an asshole to Toby. An asshole to basically everyone. He let one bad event in his life dictate how his life and relationships would go from then on. Not only dating, but true friendships were virtually impossible for him because of his grudge. I'm glad he finally gets over it, but still. Paul's bad attitude kind of deflated me and it took him tok long to move on. I get it. I really do understand his motives, but living life with grudges like that is unhealthy. It's sad and he'd missed out on so much happiness. I'm glad he's finally getting it.
