Matt and James... And Miz Horse are back. I dunno. This one was missing something. One if best parts of the last book was Matt and Miz Horses back and forth. Which we didn't get much of this time. I have to say much like the first book, if I wasn't understanding something I just kept going. Didn't bother trying to figure out what int he world was going on. Djinn was, I still don't know. Then Tricks. Ugh, I just don't get it. But, matts family is still crazy and Matt and James are still hot for each other so it all worked out. 3.5 stars for originality! At first I was completely confused. There was an ameoba with a god complex talking to itself. I couldn't remember everyone's names and relationships. And new players were thrown in the mix. But eventually it all came together for the most part and I could appreciate the complexity of the story. The plot of the series was forwarded a great deal in this installment but the romance between Matt and James not so much. I find myself at this point not as interested in their relationship as I am in some of the other characters (Logan, Judge, etc) Looking forward to the next piece of this puzzle!
