I liked this one....A short read but a hot story never the less....Jurgen I loved he was one hot cop...Nik I didn't like so much...I understood the way he'd been treated because of his skin colour and he was gay but like he mentioned he was never really truly hurt but he just seemed a bit off to me....But they were both truly hot together.....I loved the ending and am glad I have the second one to go to x I am reading this prequel as a prelude to Too Stupid to Live...and I am afraid.This book reads like some college frat boy went to Cancun for some spring break vacation and hooked up. It was good, and had potential to be more kind of thing. But reading it was like watching MTV, and I am just not in space where I can enjoy MTV Spring break-ish books.Nikhil Larson "Nik" went to vacation with his friend Sam. They ogle a trooper who was riding a chooper and later found out that Nik's mom knew Trooper Jurgen Dammerung.Jurgen propositions Nik because he is curious to see what Niks' dark skin and Jurgen's white skin would look like rubbing on each other (*rolling my eyes).Nik was born in India, but adopted by white parents. I guess that made him seem exotic to Jurgen, the man-ho. They have sex and Nik returns to school, but Jurgen tracks him down via Nik's mom.After some misunderstands, they finally realize this is more than just great sex. They have genuine feelings for each other.I think the writing does work for me. I am having the same issues just like Toppy and Frat boy.
