Man was this a good book! I love it when a character is so easy to relate to that you fall instantly in love, Sam is a lovely example of this! Perfectly imperfect, and perfect for Ian, the 'Bear Laird' who still has a foot in the closet! The way these two men go about figuring out they are the perfectly imperfect couple is delightful, and you will enjoy their journey, albeit with a few bumps in the road, to their very own romance novel worthy happy ever after! Thanks Anne, for a fun, witty, and spunky read that we can learn from as well as enjoy! *4.5. Stars* Sam is a college student. Ian is the hunky former firefighter, who just moved to town. Sam and Ian meet a few times at various places and eventually hook up. Ian wants to see Sam again, but sets parameters. He only wants sex. What happens when he starts to care about Sam and wants more. Will Sam let all his insecurities get in the way of the HEA he loves to read about in his romance novels? This was a cute fluffy kinda book. I didn't care for Ian in the beginning. I was ready to jump through the book and punch him in the face, and I am not a violent person. He was just such an a**h@le!! He redeems himself in the end though. Sam is a sweet geeky character and very likable. All in all it was a good book.
