Agognavo un nuovo libro di Thomas in italiano, come un assetato nel deserto. La regina del rimatrimonio e delle seconde possibilità, apre con questo libro tre trame in una, tutte gustose. Christian, uomo appassionato e incerto (ogni donna, nella vita, dovrebbe poter ricevere una delle sue lettere d'amore), Venetia, una donna generosa con gli altri, ma avida d'amore per sé. Una storia di dolce vendetta, con maschere, fraintendimenti, persone che non si riconoscono e molte altre cose non plausibili, tutte cose che a Thomas riescono sempre molto bene. absolutely loved it ! i minused 2 stars due 2 the involvement of too many secondary characters. venetia was the most stunning woman in england. christian fell in love at 1st sight. he had a kinda fascination over her which did not deem even though she was married. he made a major social faux pas which gained her attention. i think he himself did not realise until the end, dat he had wanted her attention so badly dat he made this outrageous revelation in public. i absolutely loved the book, especially the great beauty part! here, was a heroine "qui n'a pas froid aux yeux" ! she meant 2 punish christian n she went ahead!she had her vengeance; the sweetest yet most poisonous kind! poor christian was a fool where she was concerned. i also loved how venetia did not shun away from delicate/impossible situations. she actually went right 2 christian's home 2 tell him she was pregnant n then proceeded 2 tell him she was his unknown lover n she had done it 4 revenge! aweome one, wud have been better, more intense without all the blabla from secondary characters!

The weakest of the trilogy, though still an enjoyable book. (But it's not Ravishing the Heiress.)
