Definitely a page turner... I don't think I have ever read a book/series with so much Drama. It never slows down from one page to the next. There is just no break for these two. Mason and Ava have a strong love, but between Rebecca, Kade the drugs, Dane, pregnancies and then of course the CHEATING. There seems to be no happy ending for these two. D.H Sidebottom you have a very creative mind. Ava and Mason face a lot of obstacles, and that's putting it mildly. There's absolutely no room for doubt that they love each other and only each other but they can't be together for so many reasons. The relationship that they do have is volatile, one of them is always angering the other but the heat between them stays the same. Mason brings out a side of Ava that is a lot more energetic and vibrant compared to before she met him. Ava has been dealt with a lot of crap but she is still pretty fierce and spirited as a person but also caring and compassionate. Her dilemma revolves around whether she and Mason can ever work it out as a normal couple. Mason is very protective and possessive of Ava and she is the world to him, although his temper flares frequently to the point where he is blinded by rage. He's also involved in business that he can't talk about and has a coke addiction, acting like a match that's always ready to be lit. Add to that a bit of jealousy and Mason can barely see straight. His dilemma is how much he loves Ava and what he's willing to give up for her. It's an exciting book as far as all the events occuring, there's never a dull moment and the end pretty much secures Ava's worst nightmare again.
