All HUNG Up by Kathleen Brooks:4 StarsNice and easy read. Great little addition to the Bluegrass family and Intro into the Women of Power series. Always fun to revisit Keenston and its quirky residents. Trey and Taylor were so sweet together, its kind of messed up that they were together for seven long years before Trey decided to man up and propose, just because he was insecure. Their relationship wasn't a waste as they both finished school and settled into their respective careers but it almost got stale, he was too sexy to be so insecure. There were so many children's names thrown in this book, I forgot who was who, I hope if Ms. Brooks continues to write little Bluegrass novellas, she refrains from mentioning so many of the past characters and their offspring, it just confuses the reader...Divorced, Desperate and Dangerous by Christie Craig:3.5 StarsI'm guessing there's a book before this one? There are entirely to many references to past situations and characters that left me super confused and as I've never read this author before, I didn't research. In any case, I did enjoy this read, I loved the connection with All HUNG Up and some its characters, Casey and Frank are hilarious and I really hope their attraction pans out because they seem to really need one another. I think the majority of Reese's anger towards Turner was misplaced, she did have every right to be upset because he lied to her but blaming him for her brother was right stupid. Seems her brother was an idiot, hung out with the wrong crowd, got mixed up doing the wrong thing until it was too late to get out. He was at fault, not her and definitely not Turner. After every thing is said and done he still goes out his way to make sure both siblings are safe. Plus she gave in to her hormones pretty damn quick so she couldn't have been that mad...Ready to Were by Robyn Peterman:5 StarsI love Robyn Peterman because every time I pick up one of her books, I know I am going to love the original story line, laugh hysterically at all of the characters and walk away with a bunch of new funny as hell cuss words! Plus her heroes are always super hot, ultra sexy and major alphas! Hank was no different! OMG Dwayne was fantastic as well as granny, they were so funny! Essie was the perfect partner for Hank, yeah she was gullible in her youth but she owned up to her mistakes and she grew into her own. I loved her character! I found this gem on Amazon and purchased it back in July. I found it buried in my library and finally got around to reading it. I am glad that I did. I have read the Bluegrass series by Kathleen Brooks so I was excited to see a short story in here about two different characters. It was well done and it was nice to read Christie Craig, as I have never read anything by her previous to this. I am not a fan of paranormal books so I was unable to finish the third story in this book. It seemed well done, but just not my cup of tea.
