I like the idea and main point of this book: Pray for your husband, and expect that God will change you too, possibly as much or more than He changes your husband. I even liked the organization. The short chapters are easy to read one-per-day along with daily Bible reading and prayer. What I did not like was the way the author used scripture to back up her points; the book is peppered with catch-phrase taken from the Bible along with their references, many of which are taken out of context. She also states opinions as fact and leans toward the idea that if you aren't seeing results you many not be praying hard enough or claiming the right promises in your prayers. There is some good advice in here, but you really have to take it with a grain of salt. I love this book as much as I love The Power of a Praying Woman! I think it Stormie does an excellent job using scripture to show us how we can pray for the most important man in our life. I use it the same way I do my Power of a Praying Woman book...I read one prayer a day. The prayer in the first chapter on the first day of the month. The prayer in the second chapter on the second day and so forth.
Such an amazingly, insightful book for all Christian wives.
