I've always appreciated the writings of Stormie, especially on prayer. This is a 7 Day Devotional based on Ephesians 6...putting on the whole armor of God. Each day feels with a different piece of armor and how to put it on and the significance of that armor. Each day has a prayer and scriptures to reinforce the armor.There are so many leaders that encourage to make sure every piece of armor is in place daily. So daily make sure have on: TRUTH, RIGHTEOUSNESS, PREPARATION of GOSPEL of PEACE, FAITH, SALVATION, WORD OF GOD, and PRAYER.This is a nice, concise and well put together teaching. I think it's helpful. Recommend it. Finally, I understand some of the "full armour of God" . I always wondered about the belt of truth. The elements are related or war armour is current with antiquity Times, not today. Regardless of your translation of your Bible. It was informative and necessary for anyone who is especially a "mind" person. What is that you ask ? A person like me. In other words, some people can be insulted or mistreated , go to sleep , sleep like a baby, ( I sometimes wish I was gifted like that) without calling all heavens armies to surround you every night because your brain just doesn't shut off. Remembering like an elephant and things get to you more than others. It has nothing to do with strength or being ill in the head, it's a matter of being wired differently and a threat to the enemy's kingdom. I notice the more I draw to Christ , the greater my trials have been. As well, I've been told I'm a "mind person " by a prophet in church and I was shocked because my. nickname in Church is "Barbie". (Never did get her dream house!) But, truthfully, I'd rather be reading and would be studying the latest Crimson law review. That fascinates me. So, if you need a supplement to your daily reading, it's quick, 2-3 pages chapters on each piece and quite interesting on the armour we need against our enemy because at all times, regardless of maturation, you are to " be aware that your enemy seeks to devour you". Also, stay in the word. His word" is a light to your (life) path and a lamp to (the road/His Will is for you personally) to our feet" Proverbs.
