I have read this a couple of times. Upon reading this book years ago I began praying daily for my husband in all matters. God is able to work without my prayers if he chooses but praying and asking does make a difference as He listens, hears and moves when we come to Him with a pure heart. Even the scriptures say 'ask....', take the step of faith believing. I have seen good through prayers that God has answered - His work not mine, I only pray and give it over to Him to continue the work as promised. This book gave me a nudge to pray as I should. I finally had to buy this book electronically so I could no longer harm it!! lol:-)! I have read this book before and each time it holds ME not my husband accountable for my role as a wife. He could do so much better in his role but the book teaches me to work on me and is like your own mother convicting you when you know your wrong! I love this book but would burn, bite, throw, bend, you name it when it held me accountable! So now that it's on my phone, I can no longer destroy it! Very good read if you want to walk as a true woman of God in your marriage! After all, if you can't do it there, there is no need trying to do it anywhere else! God, marriage, then children!! Let's go!!! Read it!
