About book The Hueys In... It Wasn't Me (2013)

I thought this book was absolutely fantastic. It's a picture book, about a group of children arguing and passing blame to each other when someone else steps in and asks what they are fighting about. None of the children remember to they forget about the argument and go together to see a dead fly. This book is suitable for any age and key stage because it teaches a very good lesson. I would read this story to my class at any random point and at times there have been significant amounts of conflict in the class. It is a good opener for PSED/PSHE lessons and the teacher and children can talk about arguments and the ways to resolve them and move on. I will always have a copy of this book in my classroom. This is a short story based on arguments and ways in which you can solve them. It is very visual and has child friendly drawn pictures to exemplify things such as not getting on-arguing and the confusion that happen between a group of people when everyone is talking over each other and not listening to each other. It would be good to use with a group of children in trying to resolve a disagreement but also be used as a whole class discussion point about how arguments can easily happen, escalate and be resolved - depending on how well they listen to each other. Could be used with a variety of different aged children. Fun and quick read. PSHE links

Why is this book a larger format than the last one? Doesn't make any sense to me.
