I haven't read any Johanna Lindsey's books for the longest time, so I am kind of lost on the addition to the beloved Malory family. This is most definitely NOT a Malory family story. The heroine happens to be a friend of Georgina and the hero happens to be friends with Gabby (no clue who she is since I haven't read that book yet). POSSIBLE SPOILERS so proceed with caution! What the heck happened to Lindsey? She used to have a way with words and I could feel her characters. I kept on waiting for the story to get interesting and it never did. The "falling in love" part is just dumb. I am not convinced they're even in love considering how much they hated each other their whole lives. What changed? Yes, she's pretty, and he's hot, is that it? I'm giving it a 2 instead of 1 just because I'm being super generous here. I do like the appearance of the Malorys and for that I'm giving it a one whole star. The other star is because I do like her relationship with her dad. In fact, that's the best part of the book. That's the only part I am actually feeling something. The rest, major snoozefest! My friend gave me this book so I'm glad I didn't end up spending any money on this. This doesn't even feel like a Johanna Lindsey's book. Did she get a ghost writer? Either way, this is not a keeper for me. It took me days to finish, which never happened with Lindsey's books before.
Do You like book That Perfect Someone (2010)?
Wasn't to bad but felt a little rushed and missing something.
