Great "ending" to the Wool series. Now that we know there is a deserted Silo 17, I wanna know more about it, and about Jimmy/Solo. In this installment we find the Mechanical fighting its way up to IT, for truth, for Juliette. We find Juliette fighting for a way back home, to spread the truth. Bernard...I REALLY wanted to kill him myself. So many scenes where I held my breath, not knowing what will happen but hoping Howey doesn't go and kill another great character (as we now know, he is definitely not afraid of that).Overall, the Wool series is solid 4, 4.5 stars. Great story, great writing, great characters and I can't wait to read about how it all started and how it all ends. This is the first review I've written for this series, and I must say, I was a bit surprised at how much I enjoyed reading these. The first book in the series is free, so why not give it a shot!? As the books progressed, I became more and more addicted. In this book, there was basically a cliffhanger at the end of every chapter, and unlike TV shows, I didn't have to wait a week to find out what happens! Gotta love books. I always worry when the end of a science fiction book draws near, the author either nails it, or leaves me cursing and wanting to set my kindle on fire. So I'm delighted to say, the ending was completely satisfying. If you're not a big reader, just enjoy a few pages here and there, these books are for you. If you liked Hunger Games, this book is for you. If you enjoy any apocalypse type books, this ones for you. If you like to read and have a Kindle, the first book is free so do yourself a favor and download it.
Do You like book Silo 5 / Gestrand (2013)?
I found the finale engaging and am looking forward to the Shift series.
