Lachlan has a curse on him that prevents him from being intimate with any women. It has been three years and he has been searching for the witch who put the curse on him. He finds Lady Catherine who looks exactly like the witch but she has lost her memory and has no knowledge of what happened to him. She travels with Lachlan to find her past and discover how to remove the curse so they can be together. The final book of the Highlander trilogy, I think I enjoyed this book the best. Lachlan MacDonald, Laird of War for his cousin, Angus the Lion, was in search of the mystic Roanaid after she cursed him 3 years past. Instead of finding her though, he found her twin, Catherine, a woman who had lost all memories and was trying to figure out who she truly was. Even though her family told her that she was the missing heiress to the Drumloch fortune, Catherine knew she was missing something.I liked the storyline with no one knowing that they were twins. Lachlan believing she was playing her family false and Catherine afraid that she was a cruel and evil person. It was fun watching Lachlan battle his attraction to his hated enemy.Solid series.
