The book Last Rite is the third book in the personal demons series. This book was so extreme and was the best book in the Personal Demons trilogy. Frannie has to defeat the King of Hell himself, have to chose between Heaven and Hell, and most of all face her fears. What makes it harder is that Matt, her gaurdian Angel has fallen, and now she takes the blame for everything which is weighing her down even more. The biggest shock of all is in the end. Heaven, Hell, and earth are all connected. This was an AMAZING book. A crazy thrill ride for this conclusion to the series. Frannie , Luc, and Gabe are on the run, trying to hide from the demons who are trying to capture her for satan. Hiding out in Florida in a beach side shack, Luc tries to get his demon mojo back to protect Frannie. Then Gabe starts to become human since he's hot for Frannie. Oh My! Matt is scemeing to get Frannie home to draw her out for Satan. Frannie goes back to save her family and finds out some things about her origin, as well as her sisters have some talents as well. Luc to the rescue. Gabe too. Then an epic good versus evil battle for Frannie ensues. This was a great ending to this series, I truly started to forget what an ass Frannie was in the prior books. Other than the fact that she almost ruined Gabe with her sexual urges she turned out to be tough and strong. she came through. after all of the terrible things these characters put each other through It made for a unpredictable and sexy ending. My fave character was her grandfather. he was the only one next to Luc that wasn't a complete moron. but even with the idiocy that went on it made for an entertaining series. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean to sound like I didn't like this book. It's just Frannie up until the last part of the book was not my favorite of characters. Everyone blamed Luc through the whole book. since he was a demon trying to tag her for hell, and that started the whole thing. I look at it a bit differently. Frannie couldn't keep her sexual urges from going in overdrive not only with Luc, a demon. but Gabe, a angel.I mean most of the book she was trying to get both of them in her bed. Kudos to Luc for becoming good. yes frannie's "Sway" did it but he did want to be good even before. Then there was Gabe...hello? your an angel, why were you allowing this human girl to feel you up, cuddle with you, and pull you into her bed at her every whim? So after all that happened I say she redeamed herself as well as everyone els so it was all good. great writing regardless I felt a rainbow of emotions reading this so it was a good read.
Do You like book Rite Ultime (2013)?
Well, a nice end of the trilogy - a little too much action and drama, but still good.
