Jed'in gayrimeşru oğlu ve kızların üvey abileri Garth'ın sonunu çok merak ediyorum. Adam baya sağlam zarar veriyor.. Bu seriyi sevdim. 2. kitap bitti, sırada 3 var.. I enjoyed Lip Service by Susan Mallery. Skye Titan and Mitch Cassidy were going to be married until her father, Jed Titan,ordered her to marry someone else. She told Mitch she couldn't marry him; breaking his heart and hers. Mitch joined the Navy and became a SEAL. Skye married as her father ordered and had a daughter, Erin who is now almost 8. When her husband died, she took the money she inherited from her mother and started a foundation to feed hungry children in America. Mitch comes home after 9 years in the military,a wounded warrior. He lost part of his leg in an explosion. And he is angry -- about everything. He is still hurting from what Skye did 9 years ago and he is in physical pain. And he finds that his ranch is now offering organic beef and free-range chickens. The chickens are the last straw as far as he is concerned. And then he finds out about Erin and is convinced she is his daughter even though Skye tells him she is not. And Skye's half-brother, Garth,(Jed had an affair with Garth's mother & refused to marry her) is trying to ruin not only his father but his half-sisters too. No reason is given except he wants revenge.I liked Skye and Mitch. They were good together. And even though Erin is not his daughter, Mitch comes to have feelings for the little girl and agrees to come to her class for a "tell us about your job" day. Jed Titan is a total jerk and that is being nice! He controls Skyes life ordering her to marry who he wants her to marry and threatening her when she refuses.As I read, I realized this was the second book in a 4 books series. I wasn't going to read the rest of the books, but I have to since the mystery of why Garth is out to ruin the Titan family was not resolved in this book.
