One of the best books that I have read.It makes you want to face your fears so that nobody can use them against you. I liked the fact that in the end Mary Jane(Monica Davenport) faced her worst fear-losing Luke to a serial killer- and emerged victorious.Fear has a power over you till you overcome it.The fact that Hyde learned there is always hope after he rescued Mary Jane was also a nice touch. Overall an extremely good book-thank you Cynthia Eden. Picked this up for $1.00 and kept it on the shelf for a long while. Finally grabbed it on a whim for what I thought would be mindless reading. Wow. What a surprise. I was instantly drawn to the main characters. This is not a stereotypical suspense with a little romance thrown in. I don't want to give away anything but if you are a fan of this subgenre then read this book ASAP. I couldn't put it down. Reminds me of Beverly Barton - and I miss her - so I'm glad that Ms. Eden has an extensive backlist.
