Wow. I always love romantic suspense. And Cynthia Eden deliver the story fabulously. It was about an FBI agent named Monica Davenport, a heroine who survive from serial killer and became a profiler. How she tried to caught another killer while trying to hide her past from her partner/love interest, our hero Luke Dante.I like how the writer try to get us into the villain head. It was quite intense and the murder also very sickening. The "fear" played neatly, and it actually get me lil bit, imagine left scared to death death by your own fear. The romance was very hot, and it was good that they shared a history, so the intensity of their passion was believable. Looking forward to read then next installment: Deadly Heat. This book gripped me right from the start and didn't let go until the very end. I am not normally one for a 5-star rating, especially not for what is essentially a romance book, but there are always exceptions and Deadly Fear is one of them. The serial killer plot was very well done - the killer was hidden right until the final reveal and you only had vague guesses at who it might be. Intertwinned was the relationship between Monica and Dante, how Monica used Dante to bolster her control and strength, and how at the end releasing that control allows her to love him completely. Couldn't have been any better.
Do You like book Deadly Fear (2010)?
