No ,No , No , and No .... this was just a bad "deja vu " of the first book , the events didn't click and the story wasn't that convincing, the whole thing felt like a trap indeed . In my opinion the author gave it all on the first one and then she slacked on the second .I give her one thing though, she sure knows how to develop a character and how to make a good chemistry . I'm not really that excited to read the third book to be honest ,cause now I know it's a one story-book, and it's just repeating it self over and over again . same story, different characters . Naturally I thought that the sequel would be less fun than the first book. I was wrong. Michael and Maggie are different than Nick and Alexa. Unlike Nick Michael is a family man. For the love of his sister he decides to fake a marriage so she can get married, otherwise his conservative mother won’t allow it. Maggie is an independent and straight forward woman. She has short affaires but no relationships. She agrees to pretend to be Michael’s wife, even though she can’t stand him, because he promises her to stay away from Alexa, whom she thinks he has feelings for.Michael takes Maggie to his family in Italy. I loved the setting. With her big mouth Maggie continues to surprise his family. The magic spell is an important element of the series. Personally I find it irrelevant. Michael is a dear friend of Nick and Alexa so Maggie and he would’ve met eventually. I don’t see how the spell fits in.
