At the end of this trade are two pages that contain the covers of all the books that Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips have ever worked on. There are 15 trades for you to read on those two pages. READ THEM ALL. If you and comic books are not just a passing thing, READ THEM. Their partnership is really the equivalent of comic book gold. Now, Fatale is probably my least favorite of all the projects I have read by Phillips and Brubaker and it is possible this trade was my least favorite of all of the Fatale trades. The thing is, the book is still so damn good, it really doesn't matter. Five stars from me, for another trade filled with men doing despicable things to themselves, because they are under the power of the ultimate femme fatale! The story is getting back on track after the volume 3 side track, but this volume still feels like padding and dragging out the story.I am still drawn to the main characters and interested in seeing where it ends up (hence my frustration with this volume). The story expansion in this volume does add any new dimensions that can potentially add to the climax - at least volume 3 explored the mystery of the "Fatale Curse" a little. I am very much looking forward to volume 5 which will tie up the series and will be interested if in hindsight this volume had something to add.
Do You like book Fatale, Vol. 4: Pray For Rain (2014)?
I love, love, love Fatale. Pray for Rain wasn't my favorite storyline, but it was still good.
