For most of this book, I liked the characters a lot less than I had in the first one. Oliver seemed petulant and needy while Vincent seemed clueless. I was annoyed with them both. Luckily, waiting it out to the end proved to be worth it and the conclusion was uniquely satisfying. Now as long as they can keep it together and quit taking each other for granted for the rest of the series, I'll be a happy girl. This is a wonderful sequel. I love how Oliver managed to overcome his inertia & take control of his life. I also liked how he was able to demand more from Vincent. To demand he (Vincent) be open & honest about how he felt about Oliver. The kinky stuff was incidental to this story in this book but what Ava March gave us was beautifully portrayed as usual. This is essential reading if you love Oliver & Vincent but wouldn't work well as a stand-alone book.
