I really loved Oscar, he was such a sweet guy but plagued with so many insecurities. Julian, not so much he was so focused on himself that he could not get to see what is right in front of him. I loved the story but deducted a star because I was upset that Julian returned to American for a few years to make his fortune it was not plausible to me, it was totally unnecessary and broke the flow of the story. I would still recommend though. If you have lived in poverty then you know what its like to yearn for money, for comfortable living with out counting every penny. Julian Parker has lived such a life in the Americas and returns to London to find a heiress. The only catch in the plan is that he prefers men. He has come extremely close to the wealthy Oliver, but will not give up his dream of a financially stable future with a woman he could never love. This is book 2 in the Brook ST trilogy and it is just as sweet and enduring as the first
Do You like book Fortune Hunter (2012)?
Story of redemption and second chance. The ending was a bit too abrupt for me. Wanted another scene.
