Wow just WOW! This book was really something else! I knew I would love it from the synopsis alone, but I didn't think I would love it so much. You think you know what a book about a man looking for his girl is gonna be like. Well part of it anyways. BUT what I wasn't expecting was that twist to that whole 'HIS girl going missing thing' And it BLEW MY MIND! I would read this book again happily and still to stuck to the book. Lane stole my heart BIGTIME! This was more like 3.5 stars for me. I really liked it till I hit 75%. That's when the protagonist came in and everything got a little sketchy and I started scratching my head. This was the first book I've read by this author, so I don't know if she usually adds a 'bad guy' in her books, but he was one of the dumbest criminals I've come across in a book. He basically ratted himself out for no reason. I didn't get that AT ALL and it seemed like the only reason for it, was because the story was starting to drag at that point, so the author threw in the criminal at the end to wrap everything up nice and neat. Needless to say, by the end I was so annoyed I really didn't care what happened.
