I haven't read A Hundred Year Old Man, so I can't compare. It was okay though. I wasn't fascinated neither by the story nor by characters, but definitely surprised by the smoothness which was with me all the time when I was reading this. Of course there were moments when I had to stop reading and say: What the hell?! These moments made me read and read as I was curious what was about to happen. I'm glad I spent some time on reading this book. When I look back, I can honestly say that it was good and thrilling one. But the problem in my case is that I couldn't identify myself with neither of those characters. That's what I was missing. To conclude, I can totally recomend it. It's nice, exciting, with lots of funny and also insane moments.. Great choice for your rainy Sunday afternoon. Enjoy This book has the dubious distinction of being one of five that I've given up reading halfway through as too much effort for very little reward. I loved his first one and although this one is written in a similar style, I found this now really unenjoyable to read, pretentious and above all, tedious. Life is too short (and the world full of too many good books) to waste time ploughing through this one.

Tīri humorīgs gabals kā jau uz vāka teikts komēdija un farss. Laba smadzeņu košļene.
