I had to keep reminding myself that this wasn't fiction. this really happened to a little girl. I felt for her having to grow up under those conditions but I felt the book was lacking in some details that others who have been through similar have included in their books. it is understandable though that she would not want to broadcast everything to the world. if you liked this I would try Jaycee dugard's story of her captivity. Gripande om en ung flickas ovanliga öde. Man fångas direkt och handlingen blir aldrig tråkig. Den är skriven i dagboksform och tidsordning. Det är intressant hur hon tänker och ser tillbaka på det hela. Däremot hade jag velat mer om vad som hände efter att hon lyckades rymma. Hur tog hon sig tillbaka till livet? Hur tror hon att hennes livsuppfattning skiljer sig från andras? Det togs inte så mycket upp.
