TEAM ZOMBIE!!!!!!! I'm gonna admit that I'm not the biggest fan of zombies or unicorns. But the arguments in between stories with Holly and Justine are just hilarious. There is a serious war between both sides. It's amazing how my fav authors (except Holly Black) are in team zombie. I love Holly's books but it's pretty hard to beat Cassandra Clare, Maureen Johnson and Scott Westerfeld. Here is MY top 3 stories for each side. (1 being my fav) Top 3 Unicorn Stories 1. Princess Prettypants by Meg Cabot 2. The Care and Feeding of Your Baby Killed Unicorn3. Idk. I don't know my third choice because I think that the other unicorn stories didn't stick out like my top 2 stories. Top 3 Zombie Stories 1. Cold Hands by Cassandra Clare2. The Children of Revolution by Maureen Johnson3. Love Will Tear Us Apart by Alaya Dawn JohnsonI had a pretty hard time picking my top 3 zombie stories because they were all really goodThis is just my opinion so read this and pick your favorite stories. TEAM ZOMBIE ALL THE WAY!!! This was definately a unique book. First off, I personally don't read anthologies of short stories that often, so this was a different experience for me. Secondly, it was about two editors competeing for the title of the better creature, Zombies or Unicorns. I thought it was very fun reading their banter between stories, and learning more about both creatures. For me, there were a few stories I liked and a few I wasn't too fond of. I know alot of people enjoyed "prom night" by Libba Bray but personally it didn't stand out too much for me, other than the fact that it was the last story. It also had a very mysterious aspect to it, that had not all of the questions answered, which I enjoyed. It really made you think.A story I thought was really daring and out there, was the last unicorn story in the anthlogy, The Third Virgin. I got this book from the library so I don't have it with me right now and can't check the author name. Anyway, that one was very different and creepy as well, it was certainly not something I had expected!To put this in a little wrap up, this review sucks but I thought the anthology did not.
