Das Konzept hinter diesem Buch ist einfach anders und der Thriller vielleicht auch gerade deswegen so gut? Es beginnt wie ein Vortrag über Gewalt und stellt damit neben den eigentlichen Kapiteln eine weitere Strukturierung innerhalb der Geschichte dar. Diese zieht sich durch das gesamte Buch und verleitet den Leser so zu einer objektiven Sichtweise auf das eigentliche Geschehen. In den Kapiteln selbst steht jedoch die Sichtweise der Opfer und Angehörigen im Vordergrund. Die Gefühle werden aufgezeigt und nachfühlbar dem Leser präsentiert. Dies ist ein ziemlicher Gegensatz zur objektiven Vortragsdarstellung, macht das Lesen von "Entführt" aber auch so interessant. Die Unterteilungen sind so gesetzt, dass man immer wieder herausgerissen wird, sobald man dem Opfer gefühlsmäßig zu nahe kommt. Ein wirklich interessanter Ansatz, der mich von Anfang an und bis zu letzten Seite gefesselt hat.Entführt ist ein pragmatischer Thriller, der mit seiner subtilen Einfachheit überzeugt und begeistert. Dafür gibt es von mir 4 der 5 möglichen Sterne :) It had taken me two days to finish this book and as far as I can remember, 'Before I Go to Sleep' was other book I have read at the same speed of light (mind you two days is a speed of light to me) and that book ended up as one of my favourites ever; but this book not really.Three and a half (tiny little sweet) stars;One: I have this sweet, soft, longing spot for anything Swedish (one of many reasons why I picked this book in the first place)Two: I really had my fun guessing on how to pronounce the characters names: Ylva, Sanna, Jorgen, Calle (I really like the name, and the character, and I pronounced it as Kelly because Calleigh IDK it makes sort of sense to me), Nour and don't get me started on the last names and the places.Three: The crime (rape in this case), retribution, second chances, vigilante justice have always been a sensitive issue to me (I kind of don't believe in vigilante justice but the rape itself I don't know if I could ever ever ever ever forgive the perpetrator /ever/ given if he has paid for his crime and that will lead to - someone needs to stop me.Half tiny little sweet star: for Jorgen. Who would've thought that this bastard would be the one to break some sense into Mike's head; leading to the book's end (and Mike storming to Gosta's and wife's house and meeting his captured wife there).ps: Didn't bother to reread yaaay.pps: What a joy.pps: Any one you wanted to read this book, go ahead, they're such page turners.
