Well - I liked this a whole lot more than I thought I would given Matt and Aubrey didn't really feature much in the first two books. That said, it's not a five star rating because Matt was a bit of a wet lettuce in a few places and I wanted a bit more oompf from him. There were times where I wanted to shout at him to not be led by little-Matt and tell Aubrey where to go!Still - a good addition to the series, and what's great is that these don't just feel like stories written to drag one tale out over several books to make the author more money, but valid additions to the Reservations series overall. I really liked this book and had a hard time putting it down. I enjoyed the fact that it wasn't insta-love where all the brains head south and they declare their undying love for each other in twenty pages. Both Aubrey and Mat don't just jump into bed even though both feel the pull and lust of the mate bond. Aubrey was at times an ass but that is to be expected with any character in the closet. Matt being such a pushover did irritated me at times since he never really stood up to Aubrey. I would have like to see him have a little more backbone even though the two together did make a fairly good couple.
