Vision in Silver is an excellent finish to the trilogy. However, of the three, it is my least favorite. Not to say that it is a bad book by any means--the characters remain fabulous and the story is riveting, However, the plot seemed to disintegrate by the last 100 pages, coming to a somewhat deus ex machina finish. Everything seemed to wrap up very quickly. Nevertheless, I still loved it. Would recommend this series to anyone who likes urban fantasy, sci-fi, and mysteries. This series is not about paranormal romances, as the dust covers of all three try to indicate. There is romance, and it is cute, but it's there more as a means to motivate certain characters to accomplish plot-oriented stuff. Note:I recieved this book through a GoodReads giveaway.I'm going to keep this review spoiler free since the book isn't out yet. While I found the first in The Others series to be a fun read and good introduction to a new series, I found it lacking in world-building, leaving gaps for other books to build on. The second book took these gaps and added everything but the kitchen sink leaving that novel feeling a little frenetic. The third entry in this series, Vision in Silver, achieves a nice balance between too little world-building and an information dump. This novel moves the series along and answers a few questions established from the previous book. However, compared to the world-building Bishop achieved in her previous serious The Others serious feels a little lacking, we are left with hints of a much larger world, but with little evidence that anything outside The Courtyard exists. An enjoyable read, but I hope we see more of a larger world in later novels.
