About book Twin Souls (Nevermore, Book 1) - A Vampire Hunter Novel (2013)
Nice book, quick to read. Definitely made me curious for the other books in the serie.I think the vampires in this book are the way they should be, predatorial and instinctive, except off course for Salem. I love the fact that he is no ordinary vampire and that Alex is not an ordinary vampire hunter. I love almost all vampire stories but in this one I like the backflashes to Salems youth and the fact that Alex is not just a helpless girl. Don't do it. Just don't even bother or waste your time. I have a rule about giving a book until 10% and I read until 12%, but I knew 7 pages in (chapter 1) that things were not going to work out between me in this book. In chapter 1, the things that happen and the way the characters react to those things is so implausible and ridiculous that I considered chucking my 10% rule, but I soldiered on. As I continued to read I was thrust into some kind of Twilight Bizarro World. The description of the drive to his house. The house. She doesn't know what he is, but sees him at school and is all hot and bothered just like someone else we know. Who knows, maybe this is a great book, but the start was so abysmal there was just no going on.
Do You like book Twin Souls (Nevermore, Book 1) - A Vampire Hunter Novel (2013)?
A lot like twilight. Really boring at the beginning but after a while it creates its own character.
