4,5 starsThis was a nice follow-up to one of the most unique stories I've ever read and I loved to see David, John and Jamie again. It's Christmas time and the first Christmas together for John and David. For both men these days bring up memories that are difficult for them to deal with. Jamie is also dealing with his first Christmas alone.David seems to be making more progress with things. He makes you think about the homeless men and women out on the streets, helps seeing them in a different light.I really enjoyed revisiting the bookstore and the guys. I'd love to hear more about Jamie, though. Pretty please? :) Christmas in a bookstore definitely my idea of the perfect way to spend the holiday. David & John are so perfect for each other and isn't that the true definition of perfection, what's perfection for one person isn't necessarily perfection for everyone else. Like a Note In the Margin, Twelve Days gives us a glimpse of the challenges faced by these two men and the strength needed by them as both individuals and a couple to get through them and come out the other side, hopefully stronger. The icing on the cake of this story for me would be for Jamie to have his story told and of course it would include more John & David.
