I can see why a lot of people love this book. The story itself is very interesting and quite different from the what's normally in m/m romance. But the execution is painful. The writing is extremely clunky and breaks up the story in random places. The constant POV switching is beyond distracting. It actually makes the book almost unreadable. And none of the characters act or speak like real people. If you can get over those kinds of things, then you will probably really enjoy this one. Someone said, it's good. But tough. Yes, second that. This is an absolutely amazing story. But it's so sad and heartbreaking. Yet tender.Reading this book was like riding one hell of roller coaster emotion. To be exact, it threw me in happy-sad-anger cycle. The author really knew how to toy your emotions. In one minute, I was happy, and thought finally everything was gonna be okay and sweet, but then David would just spoiled the mood and made me sad for him, and then happy again when everything was back to normal, and then angry with David when he left John, and then sad again. Repeat the cycle again and again. And really, I was kinda glad that I didn't have to suffered for more than 276 pages...because seriously, I was getting slightly frustrated near the end for the recurrences.
