5 'gut wrenching' starsI love, love, love when I find a fabulous author I hadn't discovered before. This was one incredibly well written, sob inducing, beautifully crafted and extremely hot novel. There are so many secondary characters who have been introduced and have their own stories that I cannot wait to read. The main characters of Janie and Max had such sorrowful pasts that led to beautiful character creation by the author that I felt compelled to reach for tissues whilst cheering them on with pompoms. We also have glimpses of the back story of Janie's best friend to be revealed later and so many other sub plots which have only just begun. I literally read this in 5 hours with only coffee breaks. The next in the series will be one clicked immediately!Thank you Lisa N. Paul for taking me out of weeks of a book funk where I was constantly reading '3 star' novels. OMG Max, can you say yum. All sexy and Alpha. I love it when he says Words, I need words. I have a few words for him that would make him blush lol I fell in love with this story from the moment he took her home. His story is so heart breaking but one most of us can relate to. The writing in this book was amazing. Good mix of sex, romance, and drama. I could not put it down. You fall in love with the characters and want so badly for things to workout even when it seems like it wouldn't. I wanted so badly to shake Max and make him wake up but he needed to find himself first and so did Jani. I love this story and couldn't put it down. I cannot wait to see what happens in Storm Front.
