Was it just me or was the word/a form of the word 'vomited' used A LOT? It starts after Raine 'vomits' during her migraine and then everyone is 'vomiting' their feelings/life stories out of their mouths. Someone definitely needs to find a better word, or maybe just use it once a story because it just makes me think of, well.......vomit. And I'd rather not be nauseated while reading a book. Vomiting aside, the story was so-so. I'm over these series that follow one couple and their long drawn out relationships. I liked this book less than the first one. Macen was even more messed up than he was in the first book. I'd like my Dom's to be Dom like please. I don't mind if the have issues but I will need them to be Alpha like at all times and I just couldn't take his self-doubt and thinking he wasn't good enough for Raine.Which brings me to Liam. He started out perfect in book 1 and by the end of this book he is just a mess. I'm pretty sure he's going to end up a switch at some point and time. Raine has been topping from the bottom since the beginning and I don't see that changing. I mean, let's face it. This girl is not really a submissive. I don't know what the hell happened to Macen's wish for a 24/7 slave by the end of this book it wasn't being mentioned anymore. Liam was a self-doubting fool and both guys were putty in Raine's hands. I liked the storyline and the set up to check out the next book. But to be honest I was skimming quite a bit. I'm pretty disappointed that Shayla Black had a hand in this one.
