Well we finally get Xander's story and boy is it a good one. I would never have thought that Xander would settle down with anyone but to find that special person and share her with his brother makes a great happily ever after. We know from BELONG TO ME and MINE TO HOLD that Xander has been trying to save his brother from drinking himself to death. I have liked Xander. I know a lot of people would write him off as a jet setting playboy with no real substance but he has a heart. He is a caring and compassionate person that just needs to fell wanted and needed. He also is courageous and very loyal to his friends and family. I loved that London McLean threw him for a loop and opened his eyes to what he had been searching for with all the women that he has taken to bed, or against a wall or on a table. We get a great deal of insight into Xander and why is the way he is.We also finally meet Javier Santiago. He has been drowning in regret and anger for a year with no end in sight. His wife was murdered and there have been few clues as to why she died. He is about to lose his company and his brother. London is the balm for his wounded soul. She makes him want to be a better man. He sees her potential and wants to bring it out and build her confidence. He also wants to make love to over and over. Javier is also a loyal and caring person. He is a good judge of character expect for his brother. He doesn't see until almost the end of the book that Xander is just trying to get his attention. Javier is also driven to succeed and it is slowing killing him because he has to always be in control of everything in the business. Stress, guilt and anger are a destructive combination. I am glad that he found his inter-Dom and a reason to make himself a better man.London is a virgin that wants to experience life to its fullest. She was in an automobile accident when she was a sophomore in high school. Her injuries were several and there was a chance she would never walk again. With determination and courage she is not only walking she is working at a job and dealing with two very Dominate males. London is tough and strong willed. She may be a submissive but she is also not going to let Xander and Javier run over her. I was glad that she found the courage to show the guys her back. She needed to overcome the hurt that came from a former rejection.The villain in this story is a scientist that is out for revenge and he doesn’t care who he has killed as long as Javier suffers for it. He is one of those people that need to be put in a deep dark hole and never let out. What he gets is much less than he deserves.We get to see more of Luc and Alyssa in this story, since Alyssa is London’s cousin. It is nice to see that these two are still together and doing so well. We also find out that Logan is considering leaving the SEALS, I will let you find out why. This is a wonderful story overall and I highly recommend to all those that like the Domination/submission stories. There is some edge play, spanking, plugs, bondage and public displays for arousal throughout this story. There isn't any m/m sexual interaction between the brother. Wow, this one was bad. Everything happened at warp speed and nothing felt genuine. It was just weird and ill-fitting. The author even puts it to words in Chapter 18:"Oh, come on. I could have written this script without any imagination at all..." (Luc)This series and author has always been hit or miss for me, and I'm not expecting literary brilliance, but this book was beyond dissapointing and a waste of the high price.
