What a treat! I never read a book about WYVERNS before, so this story was pretty cool! The series itself keeps getting better every time I take a look at it too. It's funny, mysterious, and I love how Nate is quickly starting to grow as a Beastologist. Not only that, but in this volume, we learn more about the black sheep in Nate's family... (Sooo awesome.) The guy is definitely no good!Lovers of the first and second volume MUST check out this book too!! You won't regret it. More sophisticated than the previous two installments. Ms. LaFevers deftly weaves in more mystery, and a very pleasant surprise resolution for the story's conflict. Nathaniel's adventures just keep getting better and better. One thing I must say, Ms. Murphy's artwork captures the spirit of the stories beautifully. These books are must-reads for parents with middle-graders at home! Cannot wait to get my hands on book 4!
