I give 4.5 stars to this book and recommend it to all readers who like mysteries . There were so many dramatic plot twists when compared to its prequel.It was simply irresistible. The advices given by the Vasudevs are far more interesting.In fact , they created most of the suspense by not revealing the full information . They said on completely revealing the information , it would cause thee neelkanth to misjudge the course of actions.The best of their advices is on the Masculine and the Feminine ways of the civilization. The most interesting part of this book is that many people know only half the things (half-knowledge) and they jumped to conclusions based on the biased information. This happens mainly with the Nagas and with Parasuram. Even the lord Daksha is not as good as it is portrayed in the 1st book.Shiva becomes a father which is the happiest part in this book.Shiva's followers increase hoping that he will find and destroy evil..... It is too small to exist in a man or person..... so the task is much more difficult. To destroy the evil and not the person...The descriptions of the Viswanath temple and the Rudra's Temple were awesome. I could just feel the peace and scene of the temples. There is an irony which Sati points out that Kashi is a city of refugees and doesn't give shelter to the abandoned (Nagas). In the end, the author fails to maintain that intense suspense to its sequel. The person who attacked on Shiva and his followers is (kind of) already mentioned previously in the story.The secret of the Nagas is also revealed. So not that intense suspense was maintained.It is a 4.5 for this reason. பொதுவாகவே முதல் பாகத்தில் இருக்கும் வேகம் இரண்டாம் பாகத்தில் இருக்காது, ஒரு சில புத்தகங்களை தவிர அதில் The Secret of the Nagas அடக்கும். இதில் முதல் பாகத்தைவிட இதன் வேகம் அதிகும்... அமிஷின் திறமையை பாராட்டாமல் இருக்கமுடியவில்லை. அவரது கற்பனை உண்மையிலேயே சுவாரஸ்யமாக செல்கிறது. அதிலும் கணேஷின் கதாபாத்திரம் அட்டகாசம். இரண்டாம் பாக முடிவில் ரகசியத்தை அவிழ்த்தாலும் நம்மை அடுத்து பாகத்தை படிக்க தூண்டியுள்ளார்...
The first one was easier to get into and had more character development.
