A breathtaking and perfect Sequel. Amish Tripati created a much more compelling plot for the Secret of the Nagas. The grip and thrill was incredible that I almost got absorbed into the story line. the novel is having every factors enforced by a fast paced thriller reader. The Secret of the naga reveal at the very last line of the novel. The novel commence where 'The immortals of meluha' ended. Shivas entourage through the empire of Meluha continues and his search for the nagas who killed Brahaspathi reaches new levels. Shiva realized that Chandravanshis are not bad people and the evil people resides among the good. The search for the bandit parashuram in the dense forest near Madhumati river and the tactics of Shiva to arrest him alive, the voyage to nagas capital, Panchavati through the most dangerous forest in the world, Dhandakaranya, Satis bravery to save a village from a pride of nearly 30 lions, Ganesh valor to save karthik were narrated with all its brilliance. The story ends with an awe struck realization to Shiva but to understand the mystery behind that realisation, readers need to wait till the next book. The Oath of the vayuputras. the Secret of the Nagas is spell binding and irresistible. Shiva's wisdom inspires us to keep the mind open to learn new facts about the society and how we look at the world rather than staying confined within a prejudice. That will allow a common person to rise above his/her own level and understand the situation of the world from larger perspective.

A good read. But all the hero worship of shiva by the other characters tends to be boring.
