The Mischievians is a quirky book that explains why all of those pesky little things happen to us in every day life. Where did the remote go? Why is my shoe sticky? Why can't I stop laughing even though I shouldn't be? A scientist answers all of these questions by describing little creatures that live among us and cause all of these crazy happenstances. It is a very enjoyable book to read- you could even read about one Mischievian a night or all of them at one time. It is great and fun for the entire family to read together and talk about The Mischievians they think may live with them! I liked the idea better than the product with this book: "Anybody seen my homework? What's that in my belly button? Where's my other sock? What's with that smell? I can't find the remote! ... It's not your fault! It's the Mischievians'..." Fantastic way to get kids thinking, writing, and creating their own 'Mischievian' though!Picked this one up because it is written by William Joyce...and the illustrations at the beginning and end pay homage to his Robinson family I so adore.
This book is full of questions and answers. Great illustrations and definitely chuckle worthy!
