About book The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya, Vol. 1 (2008)
This would have gotten 4 stars, but Haruhi was SO ANNOYING I could only give it 3 stars. I've never encountered a character I disliked enough to make me lower my rating. The way she treated the other members of the SOS Brigade was so terrible! She was such a brat.Haruhi aside, I liked it. Kyon was an okay character. The other members of the SOS Brigade were kind of boring (despite all their secrets). Though it was good, it didn't really hold my attention. I usually finish manga in one sitting, but this one took me 3 days to read (probably because of Haruhi). Despite all that I do plan to continue the series. I just hope Haruhi is less annoying in the future.(I realize this review sounds pretty negative, but I actually liked it, I swear!) The Haruhi Suzumiya manga series (I'm reviewing the manga series in general, not just this volume) is great and fairly faithful to the novels. It does switch around some of the events, but it is done so in a way that does not greatly hinder the plot. The character development is very nice, too. The plot, as to be expected from the Haruhi Suzumiya series, is amazing and very deep. All of the characters are great and interesting, even Haruhi Suzumiya herself. The manga does contain some occasional filler chapters, but they do not hinder the plot, either, and actually fit in very nicely with the story. The biggest problem, I'd say, is the art (which, for me, isn't a very big problem, actually). The art, while very good at first, somewhat deteriorates as the series progresses, then gets better before deteriorating again. However, if you're like me and do not mind the art problems a whole lot (even though I'm a drawer), then that should not be too much of a burden to endure. Overall, this is a great manga series, and is recommended.

Versión mediocre de una obra muy interesante. Subir edición de Ivrea cuando tenga tiempo y ganas.
